The issue of illegal immigration is a sensitive, complicated issue, but I think our country often loses sight of the people who are truly affected by it.

We’re raised to believe that if we love hard enough, strong enough, and long enough, everything falls into place.

3. We can go see the same kid’s movie at the theater half a dozen times and you love it as much as I do. Or at least fake it really well.

Hint: Acing a math test isn’t one of them.

The idea of following our hearts is a sweet and heart-warming concept in an ideal world, but what about when you apply it outside of a Disney movie or chick flick?

I’ve never felt infinite.

We fall in love with the idea of a person, of all the things we glimpse in small, rapid moments, and cling to those flashes with a desperation that can carry us on for years.

When kids are mean, or adults don’t understand, and you feel a little lost and more than a little alone, I hope you turn to books.

1. People having kids. Or not, ever.

Mormons, like any other religion, are filled with wonderful, understanding and compassionate people as well as those whom are judgmental, harsh and unkind; the latter of which are far less common in my experience.

8. You have a Harry Potter wand that doubles as a T.V. remote. That might have been the moment I knew I loved you.

There is a general sense of entitlement that underlies many social concepts of this day and age that perpetuates the idea that we all somehow deserve something, often at the expense of others.
