We can never be better if there is hate within our own circle.

You will hurt for a while and feel offended, but I promise you, you will get over this hurt and heal and learn through your lost friendships that the ones who are truly meant to stay, will not leave your side and will be there with you whether you are doing well or not.

You deserve it because you have fought for years to get the attention of men who don’t deserve the time of day.

You don’t have to compare, compete, or hold meaningless feelings of jealousy towards other women. You can shine, win and slay together.

I want us to actually get to a point where mental illness in the Black community isn’t a shock or a surprise to anyone at all. I want us to get to a point where it is simply viewed an overall health issue.

You are human, a human being who is still growing and evolving into who you need to be, and where you are in life should not determine your worth.

I truly believe that the more you go through in life, the better you become as a person. Because often, especially as millennials, we have this tendency to worry about the most minuscule things ever.

I want you to wait for the guy that adores you. I want him to stare at you like you are the most beautiful woman in the world, but the stare actually makes you believe it.

Please, save your life and your mental health by being informed.

They want to live so desperately, but they can’t seem to find a way to. They feel like they have exhausted all their options and the pain they are experiencing is well beyond them.
