Just as Luke Skywalker must eventually master the dark side of the force to gain true enlightenment, I set out to be the asshole that I detested so much in my early college days. It worked.

Cut out the junk food now. Be nice to a stranger the next time you see one. Wake up early and jog a mile tomorrow. Just do something, but do it now.

There’s really no right or wrong way to do it, but limiting yourself by thinking you know exactly what you want may be a big mistake. There are no soul mates, just people you’re very attached to or having a hard time getting over because you matched them on multiple fronts.

I appreciate my body for some of the ways it helps me out. In the summertime, I get mosquito bites on my ankles because they can’t navigate through my hairy legs. Who am I for judging a girl who enjoys a little insulation in the winter months?
