For the longest time, I thought it wasn’t okay that I was angry about what happened to me. It was okay. It’s normal. Because in all that time, I never accepted that what happened to me was sexual assault.

I sincerely hope that you never know what it’s like to wake up in the morning and literally not be able to get out of bed. I hope you never think about how much easier it would be to never wake up again.
