We’re all just human beings. The only difference between you and them is the amount of acknowledgement they get from society. But then again, that isn’t beauty. That is just approval.

I became a people-pleaser, a worshipper of approval. The very feeling of disappointing someone, or not being able to do enough to help, upsets me. And most times, I’d go out of my way just to avoid that feeling.
