Heresy. You must love pigeons.

Why is the offensive so offensive these days? Why are we so afraid to hurt each other? What’s wrong with kicking the life out of someone, metaphorically and even perhaps physically? Why do we prize happiness over pain? The safe over the dangerous?

What is the political issue that directly and negatively affects you the most? And what is your plan to change it?

Satellites mistaken for stars in the night sky, the incessant buzzing of electricity everywhere, the obese data spectrums filling every atom with terabytes of data, the cars zooming through the streets and that slithering steel subway beneath it.

They post on Facebook photos of themselves in bikinis or tie-dye shirts, lying on the grass or drinking a beer by a tent, and they talk about how awesome the experience was in their feed.

Doesn’t in focus just mean something else must be out of focus? Where is the horizon?

And the list goes on and on — millions and millions of people marry their relatives. In a few Middle Eastern nations, marriage between cousins accounts for almost half of all marriages.
