They post on Facebook photos of themselves in bikinis or tie-dye shirts, lying on the grass or drinking a beer by a tent, and they talk about how awesome the experience was in their feed.

Doesn’t in focus just mean something else must be out of focus? Where is the horizon?

What’s your message? What special knowledge do you uniquely grasp and wish to declare to all of humanity? What secret did the world to reveal to you?

Charles Darwin married his cousin. They had ten children. Albert Einstein married his cousin too. So did Jesse James and H.G Wells. And the list goes on and on — millions and millions of people marry their relatives. In a few Middle Eastern nations, marriage between cousins accounts for almost half of all marriages.

Benito Mussolini said it best — “The history of saints is mainly the history of insane people.”  Look no further then the two main architects of Christendom: Jesus Christ and Saint Paul.

The typical superficial response: The former is better because it encourages freedom, while the latter restricts it. A smarter retaliation: If you can’t opt to restrict freedom, you’re not free.
