What if we could switch the narrative? What if I told you, the possibility exists, the possibility that things can and will get better?

It’s time for you to give in.

You cannot teach people to reciprocate the very kindness you share with the world. You cannot teach people to care when all they know is self-interest.

This is a script you know too well, the one marked by repetitive strife and hurt.

You always pondered at the existence of optimistic people.

You are limitless in all that you can and will achieve.

Allow yourself to drown in the hopeful possibility that you will get better.

How did I get here? I have no idea. The walk between these two locations is a blur.

It’s so hard to explain my anxieties to you when I know their existence is irrational.

Tonight we are the creators of indecisiveness.

There is both sorrow for what no longer is and admiration for what was.

Pull your hair back behind your ears. Straighten your posture. Pull your shoulders back and keep your feet pressed firmly on the ground. Put your earrings on and remember who you are. 

The truth is never comforting. The truth is the unspoken fears we are too scared to face, and his fears are written all over his body.

This voice in your heart is the voice of God, and he is louder than the voice of doubt.

One day you possessed such resilience but then it happened. You blinked and there was a switch. 

They didn’t finish you.

Please trust me. Please just let me in.

I don’t need it to be the primary arc, I just need the possibility you know. The possibility exists for us both.
