Over the years I’ve chosen to not answer a text and I’ve also had a guy not answer my text. After many instances of denying others and also being denied myself, I’ve come up with a number of reasons to why you aren’t getting a text back.

We deserve to be someone’s unquestionable first choice. If you aren’t their first choice, then why would you want to be with them? You don’t.

This attitude led me to rarely take much seriously when it came to boys. I didn’t see the point in wasting time being with someone if there wasn’t undeniable excitement.

People like to have sex. There is no reason one gender should gain the acceptance of having more sex than the other.

We don’t even have to think. You can just snap a selfie and send, hoping to get some sort of response.

A wise woman once said, “let that shit go.”

Having the need for constant contact can be a huge turnoff. Relying on another person for 100% of your happiness well inevitably leave you disappointed.

The thing is, being rejected doesn’t always mean there is a person to blame. There is no justification behind demonizing another person based on a lack of chemistry or attraction.

Don’t be delusional. If you wake up, immediately have sex and then he sends you on your merry way use your brain.
