1. The Grudge – January 3, 2020

Kicking off the new year is a new take on an old classic. You can expect old favorites like “the hand coming out of the back of the head in the shower that gave everyone nightmares for a decade” and new surprises that will change the way you live your daily life.

2. The Turning – January 24, 2020

Mackenzie Davis plays a Nanny who gets hired to take care of some creepy kids, one of which is played by Finn Wolfhard. Everyone is really weird about how the kids’ parents died, why they don’t go in one part of the house, and what happened to the last nanny, but it seems like something that the nanny shouldn’t go find out herself (but no one listens to me).

3. Gretel and Hansel – January 30, 2020

Hansel and Gretel has always been one of the creepier fairytales, but this movie amps it up about a thousand notches.

4. The Lodge – February 7, 2020

A woman is left with her fiance’s kids in a cabin and they are snowed in. The children find out that she is a survivor of a cult mass suicide, and some creepy stuff starts happening once some bad spirits realize that the woman is at their mercy. It was originally set to release this past fall, but the date has been pushed back to 2020.

5. Fantasy Island – February 14, 2020

Lucy Hale and her friends end up on an island where anything is possible. But they quickly find out that what they want to be possible ends up getting sick and twisted.

6. The Invisible Man – February 28, 2020

Elizabeth Moss plays a woman who runs away from her abusive relationship with a sociopathic but brilliant scientist. After she runs away, she is told that he has killed himself, but she knows that he’s not dead. He has found a way to turn himself invisible and is stalking her every move, which is definitely one of the craziest “crazy ex” stories out there.

7. Antlers – April 17, 2020

This looks extra creepy, gross, gory, and freaky. A little boy is feeding a creature in his attic until it escapes and wreaks havoc on the town. Lotta blood. Lotta guts.

8. Antebellum – April 24, 2020

It’s got the producers of Get Out and US and stars Janelle Monae; you know it’s going to be mind-bendingly awesome.

9. Halloween Kills – October 16, 2020

The spookiest time of the year is about to get another installment of everyone’s favorite silent killer, Michael Myers. And of course Jamie Lee Curtis is back too. She is unstoppable.
