We should then reserve our love and affection for someone who is truly worth it. And we can only start noticing them when we let go of the ones who are unable to appreciate our love.

On the other hand, rejection doesn’t mean that you’re not good enough for them. It could simply mean that the other party feels that there isn’t any potential for the both of you.

There are so many things we should all be thankful for even if we’ve had a rough year. Being appreciative prevents us from taking anything or anyone for granted. Besides, we only live once so let’s live it well.

I have never felt incomplete despite not having a father figure because my mum took on both roles to the best of her ability.

Our journey ended so we can find ourselves again and discover new things on our own. Hence, it isn’t a loss after all.

The next time you want to look for happiness, take a look at yourself in the mirror. That reflection is the one who is responsible for your happiness.

There’s no harm in sharing your life with another person. However there should still be a space for personal growth. Being too immersed in the comfort zone is inevitably unhealthy.

Prioritizing yourself is a selfless act. You do not have to feel guilty about it. Being alone allows you to do some reflection. It helps you re-evaluate your relationship with others and your goals in life.
