Please Be Brave And Let Go Of What No Longer Serves You
No matter what it is, whether it’s a negative thought, a feeling, a relationship, if it no longer serves you, then please let it go.

No matter what it is, whether it’s a negative thought, a feeling, a relationship, if it no longer serves you, then please let it go.
If it’s keeping you stuck in a place or situation you don’t want to be in, and it no longer helps you move forward to the direction that you want to go, then do yourself a favor and be brave enough to let go.
Maybe that relationship that you’ve been holding on to, no matter how wrong it is for you, keeps you from letting go because it’s what you’ve known for as long you can remember. Maybe you’re too scared to let go because it’s what you’re comfortable with. Maybe you keep going back because it’s familiar, and so that makes you feel safe. Maybe you think that this is the best you’ll ever get, even when it’s not quite what you wanted, you hold on to it because you’re scared that you’re not going to find someone or something just as good. Therefore, you settle.
Maybe you have a thought or feeling that you’ve been keeping behind your bright eyes and cheery smile. It’s a feeling that you can’t seem to shake off, because you don’t know how to. Or maybe, you just don’t want to. Maybe because you’ve had this feeling for so long, that you’ve gotten so used to it, and anything that differs from it is too scary. Maybe you’ve been so familiar with the pain, that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to be actually happy, and somehow you convinced yourself that it’s okay.
I want to tell you that if it’s no longer serving you right, and if it’s keeping you from achieving your true potential, then please, please let it go. It will be hard, and it will be painful, and it might even take a while to get used to it, but trust me when I tell you that you will thank yourself for it later. You will look back at the time when you almost settled but didn’t, and you will feel this overwhelming feeling of relief and happiness inside you because you never thought you could be where you are in that moment. You will look back at the time when you finally decided to let all your worries and negative thoughts go, and you will realize that there was actually nothing to worry about.
We tend to take what life gives us, whether it’s good or bad. You may not be able to control the things that are happening around you, but you can control how you react to it. Remember the saying “When life gives you lemons, make yourself some lemonade.” You might be in a situation that is hurting you or dragging you down, but you can either let this situation break you or build you. We’re built with fighting instincts ingrained in our DNA’s. Your mind and body will tell you when something is wrong, and you need to do something to make it right. So even when you think that you don’t have it in you, you actually do, you just have to believe it yourself.
Believe that you are brave enough to let go, and that you can go through the pain that comes with it. That pain will remind you how strong you are. If you take it one day at a time, slowly, little by little, that pain will fade and you will find the light that’s been inside of you all along.
