Thank The Universe For What It Throws Your Way

Thank the universe for what it throws your way, even the bad things, even the hard things, even the sad things.

Thank the universe for what it throws your way, even the bad things, even the hard things, even the sad things.

The bad things will teach you what is good. Bad means of poor quality or a low standard, not such as to be hoped for or desired; unpleasant or unwelcome. Bad means failing to conform to standards of moral virtue or acceptable conduct. When you know what is bad, you are able to seek what is good. You will raise your standards, and you will no longer tolerate that which is unpleasant or unwelcome. You will find strength in acknowledging the unacceptable, and you will get to define what that level of acceptance is for you.

Thank the universe for the bad things it hurls your way.

Thank the universe for what it throws your way, even the bad things, even the hard things, even the sad things.

The hard things will teach you how to persevere. They will teach you how to find your softness, too. To be hard means to be solid, firm, and rigid; not easily broken, bent, or pierced. It means done with a great deal of force or strength, requiring a great deal of endurance or effort. When you find out what is hard, you will appreciate what is easy. When you are in the thick of something hard, you will find how strong you are, and what it takes to break you.

The hard seasons of life, the hard locks around your heart, and the hard parts of your soul will teach you how to be soft.

And softness is a strength, too.

Thank the universe for what it throws your way, even the bad things, even the hard things, even the sad things.

The sad things will teach you how to find your happiness. When we are sad we are full of sorrow and unhappiness – but if we slow down for a moment, we can pinpoint the cause of our dismay. Sometimes it comes from within, sometimes it comes from around us – but the gift is knowing that it’s there at all, and knowing you want to change it.

The moment you’re able to sit and acknowledge your sadness is the point where you are able to start finding your way back to your happy, and that’s something to be thankful for.
