You do not owe anyone a space in your life. Relationships are to be earned, developed, and worked on to grow. That space they occupy in your life is sacred. It is special to be honored with another human’s time because time is something you cannot get back, and it shouldn’t be wasted on people who cannot add to your life.

You owe it to yourself to cut out the people who add toxicity to your existence. These people can only hear their side of the story. Their behavior proves time and time again they cannot be trusted. When given chances to show things will be different they fall back into their old habits. You did all you could do by giving them another chance, you don’t have to keep hurting yourself. Let them go.

You do not have to give space to dishonesty and manipulation. You do not have to be a doormat for people to want to be in your life. Rather, stand up for yourself and attract healthy individuals into your circle. You can purge the ugly from your tribe and in getting rid of the bad you create space for the good.

The person who loves to talk about everyone behind their back will never be a good friend. People who live for drama and fights will only attract negativity into your life. Their bad energy will begin to penetrate your being and affect your mood. These mean-spirited people will suck the life from you. They have this power because negativity is pervasive. It is a disease that will eventually sap you of energy and you will sink into negative patterns yourself. It’s not worth hanging onto people who just add bad energy to your life.

Friendships cannot thrive if there isn’t a foundation of respect and trust. So, if you have a friend who is disrespecting you and your other friends, it is a good sign they do not value you as a human being. They aren’t really your friend and it is okay to say goodbye.

You deserve friends who will stand by your side and honor what is important to you. They will encourage you to follow your dreams and help you any way they can. Friends are honest, even when it hurts. It is okay to expect people to earn a place in your life. Your time and energy are valuable and you don’t have to waste it on just anybody.
