Cardi B Opens Up About Her Sexuality And ‘Experiences With Women’
Cardi B is featured on Rita Ora's new song 'Girls,' a controversial bisexual anthem.
When Rita Ora dropped a song with Cardi B, Charlie XCX and Bebe Rexha about kissing women, she definitely got people talking, though not always in the best way. In fact, she was met with a lot of backlash, but not from people opposed to the idea of same-sex relationships — in fact, it was from the LGBT community.
The singers meant for “Girls” to be a bisexual anthem, but instead bisexual and lesbian women called the song “tone-deaf” for fueling the male gaze and “marginalizing the idea of women loving women.”

A lot of the problems are with the lyrics, “Sometimes, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls / Red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls” and the idea that women need to be drunk and “experimental” to partake in same-sex relationships.
But the artists that created the song standby their message, explaining that while it may not describe everyone’s relationship, it does fit their own experiences with women. Cardi B is the most recent to speak out about the song, claiming she never meant to “cause harm or had bad intentions with the song.” In fact, she claimed she had her fair share of experiences with women.
Listen to “GIRLS” by Rita Ora ft me @BebeRexha @charli_xcx .We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song .I personally myself had experiences with other woman ,shiieeett with a lot of woman ! I though the song was a good song and i remember my experience .

Hey, she’s learning, and that’s what matters!
Whether or not you find the song problematic, it’s nice to see so many celebrities come out about their sexualities. Even though it’s really none of our business, it’s good to see some bisexual representation in mainstream media for once. You go, Cardi B!
