An Aspie Will Make The BEST Friend Once You Get To Know Them
It doesn't matter if you come from a different background than them or have different beliefs, because as long as you have a kind heart, they won't care about the rest.

It can be hard for some people on the autism spectrum to make the first move when it comes to friendships. Even if they have been watching you from afar and decide you’re someone they would love to have in their life, they probably won’t approach you and strike up a conversation. They would rather have you make the first move.
Although Aspies might come across as socially awkward at first, once you get to know them, they end up being the best friends.
Aspies are the most honest people you will ever meet. You won’t have to worry about them lying to you because what you see is what you get. If you need a truthful opinion, they are the one person you can rely on to be real with you without sugarcoating their answer. They are completely authentic. You never have to question what their words mean, because you can always take them at face value.
Aspies are never going to cause drama like the rest of your friends because they are uncomfortable with confrontation. They prefer order. They prefer peace. There’s no way they will go behind your back or string you along or manipulate you. If they say they care about you and want what’s best for you, that’s the complete truth.
Aspies are trusting — maybe even a little too trusting at times. Because they only see the best in others, they get attached to people easily. If you treat them with respect, then they are going to stay loyal to you. They are going to love you. They are never going to hurt you on purpose. Seeing you sad would only make them sad.
Aspies are easily forgiving. Even if you end up making a mistake, they will not hold it against you. They aren’t the kind of people who hold grudges. They are the kind of people who look past a person’s old errors and accept that whatever happened happened.
Aspies are highly intelligent. Even though sometimes interacting with them can be difficult, there will never be a doubt in your mind that they care. They are going to try their best to remember the little things about you. They will memorize your favorite songs and your favorite colors. They will remember your birthday. They will pay close attention when it comes to the things that matter.
Aspies don’t care what other people think about them. Fitting in is not something that they worry about, which is why they aren’t going to judge you. It doesn’t matter if you come from a different background than them or have different beliefs, because as long as you have a kind heart, they won’t care about the rest. To them, it doesn’t make a difference.
Once you get to know an Aspie, you are going to realize they are the best kind of friend to have. The kind of friend who will stay loyal. Who will stay honest. Who will stick around for a lifetime.
