What To Remember When You Feel Like Giving Up

It is okay to fail. It is okay to make mistakes.

Sometimes giving up seems like the easiest option. It might feel like doing so will solve all your problems. Especially when you feel like nothing is going your way.

When you feel hopeless.
When you think it’s never going to get better.
When all you do is try and get nothing.

When you feel like giving up I want you to remember how far you have come. Everything you have gotten through. All the times that you kept going when you felt like you couldn’t. Focus on how far you have gotten, not how far you still have to go. Keep in mind that your journey might not be easy but it is going to be worth it. Life chose you. You were chosen for a purpose. You have something or someone that needs you. So please don’t feel like there is no point because there is.

It is okay to fail. It is okay to make mistakes. Falling down is a part of life. What will never be okay is to stay down. To not get back up. To let our mistakes get the best of us. If anything, take it as an opportunity to rebuild yourself. To become the person you’ve been meant to be all along.

I want you to remember that everything in life is temporary. Your situation isn’t going to stay the same forever. Nothing worth having comes easy. So it is going to take time. You must have faith that things are going to change.

Maybe not today, or tomorrow but it will.

I promise. Think of all the people you still have yet to prove wrong. The people who thought you wouldn’t make it. The ones who assumed you’d give up. That alone should make you want to fight and continue.

Things always work out. It might not feel okay for a long time. It might even seem like things will just never be okay; but when you feel like giving up remember everything will work out in the end.
