With Simplicity, Comes Clarity And Peace Of Mind

Clear up your vibration, eliminate negative thoughts and embrace all of your emotions with meditation.

The way everything in the universe works is incredibly simple.

We have the tendency to complicate our life immeasurably. The consequence of this complication is that it keeps us stuck. We shoot ourselves in the foot so to speak! Complexity leads to an overwhelmed state of mind, and an overwhelmed mind can’t see things clearly.

If you are one of those who overcomplicates his life, try to go back to basics and see how this will change your life for the better.

In the simplicity, there is this enormous clarity. This principal applies to both businesses and individual lives.

One of the main reasons that we complicate our life is, that it helps us to feel important. It is our ego that likes to complicate and confuse things. Our heart is not interested in creating obstacles!

The guidance of the heart is always clear!

The mechanism of the heart is a perfect example how the universe works. It is essentially doing two things: It is pushing out, and it is receiving back. The analogy of the universe is the same. What we send out vibrationally (thoughts, feelings, state of being) is what we receive back. In other words: we reap what we sow.

If the energy can flow freely and we don’t interrupt it with resistance and negative thought patterns, we feel energized, vibrant and full of vitality, and, this will be then reflected in our personal and professional relationships.

As a side effect, we will find ourselves very often at the right place at the right time and we will be able to grasp opportunities when they show up because we understand that nothing comes by chance.

Of course, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we won’t experience any challenges or intense growth periods, but those challenges won’t throw us completely out of balance for an extended period, and we will be able to find creative solutions to any arising obstacles. Even when we have moments of doubt and insecurity, we will gather ourselves quickly, and we won’t allow ourselves to be out of alignment for too long. In fact, we can use those times of doubt and insecurity to reach higher levels of awareness, confidence, and clarity if we understand that they show up for a reason.

A very intense time or personal growth or times of failure are the best times to plant seeds of creative solutions and success.

However, if the energy gets blocked for any reason (usually through negative thought patterns or when we allow the external circumstances to dictate how we feel or when we feel powerless), it stagnates and gets “smelly” very quickly like a muddy pond. It won’t take long until the effects of these imbalances/blockages will attract unfavorable circumstances.

Similarly like a cardiovascular system. If there is a blockage, we risk having a heart attack.  A heart attack is the result of a blocked blood supply to the heart muscle.

In my work as a  Holistic and Intuitive Counsellor and Life Coach, I explore these inner dynamics, and we also look which energetic blocks are preventing the energy-flow, and we clear these blockages in the sessions.

Looking for solutions in all the wrong places

“Traveling is a fool’s paradise. Our first journeys discover to us the indifference of places. At home I dream that at Naples, at Rome, I can be intoxicated with beauty, and lose my sadness. I pack my trunk, embrace my friends, embark on the sea, and at last wake up in Naples, and there beside me is the stern fact, the sad self, unrelenting, identical, that I fled from. I seek the Vatican, and the palaces. I affect to be intoxicated with sights and suggestions, but I am not intoxicated. My giant goes with me wherever I go.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

We are wired in such a way that we spend 99% of our time trying to fix things in the external world. We change jobs, partners, countries without realizing that we are always taking ourselves with us wherever we go. We attract as a reflection of ourselves those experiences which are part of our vibrational frequency

If we experience one drama after another in our life, for example, we often spend a lot of time trying to fix things on the outside instead of asking a different question:

“How do I create or attract this?”

The moment we find an answer to this question is the moment of inner freedom.

We are wired to believe we can control and fix circumstances, and no one has taught us that the external conditions are a reflection of our conscious and unconscious beliefs and of what we send out vibrationally. Our personality vibrates at certain frequencies which send out the messages into the universe.Everything comes back to us in response to the energy generated by vibration of our own thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.

Realizing that we are a physical expression of a nonphysical consciousness will make all the difference.

In short: You are a powerful being! You can create your own frequency through awareness, focus, concentration, and meditation and by prioritizing what truly matters and withdraw your attention from all objects of distraction.

“Man is a microcosm, or a little world, because he is an extract from all the stars and planets of the whole firmament, from the earth and the elements; and so he is their quintessence.” Paracelsus

Many ancient philosophies say that man is the microcosm of the Universe. Man the microcosm, the universe is the macrocosm. Some also say that we live in a holographic universe. Each part is contained within the whole, and the characteristics of every single part are reflected in the whole. In other words, each point of existence contains the infinite One.  There is a relation between inner and outer. For a better understanding, we can use as an example the whole plant and the seed. In the entire plant, we see a Macrocosm, in the seed a Microcosm.

In the West, we pay more attention to the external world. However, many cultures in the East pay more attention to the inside world because the outer world is a reflection of the inner world. We are the filter; we are the projector. We are dreaming our reality into being, just like in a dream at night.

Neuroscience suggests that our brain receives about four billion nerve impulses every second and that we are only consciously aware of about 2,000 bits, or about 0.00005% of all the potential information.
The remaining information is filtered from our conscious awareness by “deleting.”

What we erase depends on our beliefs, language, decisions, values, and memories. The resulting internal representations are how we perceive the world (our reality), and this drives our behaviors, often confirming that our perception is ‘correct.’

Observing this microcosm/macrocosm principle will help you tremendously in your day to day life.

The moment you change, your relationships change. Every time, no exception.

The other person or the situation doesn’t necessarily have to change, but the way you interact with them and view the situation will change.

Next time when you feel that somebody or something is the cause of your suffering or frustration, stop for a moment and start paying attention to the root of the cause and examine your lack beliefs carefully.

  • Once you get in touch with the lack belief that is generating the uncomfortable feeling, acknowledge that this is your current belief.
  • Own it completely! (You can not change what you do not own.)
  • Then ask yourself: “What belief would I like to replace this belief with?”
  • Once you decide what your new preferred belief is, accept it.
  • Adopt it, feel it and be it!
  • Trust wholeheartedly that this new view is now active and functioning within your entire system.

We do create our reality through the energy which we carry inside. We create the things which we like and also the things which we don’t like. The biggest challenge is that we have the tendency to be vibrationally lazy and live our life on autopilot and we don’t pay enough attention to how we feel and thus what kind of vibration we emanate.

Taking responsibility may be initially challenging especially if you are used looking for the cause in the outside, but it is very rewarding and will improve your life quality in the long run.

However, the fact that you know that you create your reality does not mean that you should accept inappropriate behavior or put up with everything.
Many of my clients are kind, peaceful, generous healer type souls, but they often lack assertiveness skills or find it difficult to speak up for themselves. They remain in unhealthy relationships or job situations and try to accept the situation instead of making healthy changes. This is not kindness or wisdom but a lack of self-respect and self-love. If your kindness is just a façade and stems from a lack of confidence or the fear of not being loved or not being good enough, then it won’t serve anyone.

In fact, if you try to be kind with an underlying vibration of insecurity or fear of not being loved you will attract circumstances which will only confirm your fears.

Choose wisely with whom you spend your time with. Unless you are absolutely rooted within yourself, the type of people you interact with will influence your thought patterns and actions. Setting healthy boundaries or leaving dysfunctional relationships and situations is often a very wise act.

If this is relevant to you please read my article about dealing with difficult people as an empath.

Clear up your vibration, eliminate negative thoughts and embrace all of your emotions with meditation.

Meditation can help you to connect with your inner wisdom and accept whatever arises without resistance and judgment. A calm mind is a powerful mind.

A client once asked me: “How will meditation help me to deal with all my problems?”

My answer was that there would be less problems to solve because we create the majority of our problems ourselves through tension, worry, anxiety, insecurity, doubt, guilt, shame and negative mind loops. Our ego is wired to create obstacles so that we can overcome them and buy into a belief that we have accomplished something great! The irony is however that we have created many of our problems ourselves in the first place through negative thinking patterns. Many perceived obstacles will disappear if we relax into our being.

As soon as a negative thought comes up next time try to let it go immediately.  Drop it like a hot coal and focus on something else.

Sometimes, the easiest way to understand a complicated situation is to simply let it go.

And if you are feeling challenged or overwhelmed by your emotions next time keep in mind that you are given an opportunity to heal and embrace something within you. Lean into your vulnerability and allow your emotions to become your teachers and choose gentle self-compassion and acceptance over harsh judgment. We have the tendency to be our harshest critics.

Embrace the full spectrum of your experience with unconditional love, warmth, and openness. Instead of suppressing unpleasant emotions, simply focus on your breath, be present and learn to relax without running away from the discomfort or pushing the emotions down. Experience them fully and then allow yourself to release all the stories of unworthiness, self-doubt or fear which are attached to these emotions. Treat your experience with the same friendliness and compassion you would treat your best friend or your child and acknowledge that everything you experience helps you to awaken to your true nature.

You integrate or dissolve emotions by feeling them fully. If you don’t resist what arises, you can shift any lower energy like fear, guilt, shame, resentment, disappointment or apathy into a higher form.

However, you don’t have to go through it alone. We all experience periods where we can benefit from some external guidance or simply someone who holds space so that healing can take place. Working with a holistic coach or counsellor on a one on one basis can be very powerful and transformational.

Movie recommendation

Inner worlds, outer worlds is an excellent movie which explains very well that we don’t experience the environment itself but rather the projection, created by our thoughts. The thoughts and feelings let us then experience our world in a certain way. If we have fear-based thoughts and feelings, for example, we will attract circumstances which will reflect this.

Inner Worlds was created by Canadian film producer, musician, and meditation teacher Daniel Schmidt. The film could be described as the external reflection of his own adventures in meditation. It also explains how sound vibration works. Those who are familiar with my work know that Soul Plan reading which is an ancient system of life purpose, guidance, and healing is based on the sound vibration of your birth name.
