Uh oh. There’s trouble in paradise. If you’re a Burner, you might’ve been exposed to the West Nile virus.
According to News.Mic, a town near Black Rock Desert tested positive for the virus.
The West Nile virus incubates in the body for 2-15 days. Symptoms can include headaches, fever, flu-like symptoms, and ultimately, swelling of the brain (encephalitis) and paralysis.
But be careful. There have been reports of having the virus without any symptoms.
