In Glynn County, Georgia, 39-year-old Christopher Dowdy and 40-year-old Tabbatha Sturgill robbed a Circle K using a hammer and a cigarette.

Sturgill, armed with a hammer, pounded the counter before she jumped over it to throw the cash register on to the floor. It was then that Dowdy entered the store and throw a cigarette at the clerk.

The two escaped with the cash register and the $200 that was inside.

The police caught up with them two streets over, as their truck was parked with brush covering the back of the truck as if to hide it from the road.

The clerk was reported to be uninjured.

Dowdy and Sturgill were caught and charged with armed robbery. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
