I know I’m not the only person who giggles uncontrollably at the sight of someone falling off a chair. But the giggles multiply exponentially when the person doing the falling is discussing super serious stuff like the national budget. In this video, which is actually a couple of years old and only now making the rounds, South African MP Nhlanhla Nene fell after the chair he was sitting on collapsed under his weight during a live interview on local television. At 0:11, a loud crack suggested disaster was imminent, but it wasn’t until 10 seconds later that it all came to a head. Hilariously.
