The sale is being priced at an astronomical 2 billion dollars, more than twice the second highest sale of an NBA team, 550 million dollars.
No more “I’ll say anything to get laid” owners for the L.A. Clippers! The news is out today and apparently Steve Ballmer, former Microsoft CEO and unintentionally hilarious person, is purchasing the Clips for a cool 2 billion dollars. In honor of this day, I felt a Ballmer retrospective was called for especially since he’s presentation style was always 98% high school coach and 2% normal person.
