A Childhater In Illinois Glued Razor Blades To Playground Equipment
"It's just a bad situation, bad instance where somebody, or maybe a group of kids, I don't know who did this, but figured this would be a fun prank to do."
The above razor blades, glued in various spots around the playground, cut up a 2 year old boy’s fingers while at the playground with his father this week. Someone in East Moline, Illinois thought it would be a good idea to glue the blades all over the playground equipment including the monkey bars, the slide, and the small climbing wall.
Police don’t have any leads as to who did this as of yet but they are inspecting the other playgrounds around the city for the same thing. Luckily, the boy’s cuts were relatively minor and the father was able to treat them at home. Police are calling currently calling this vandalism stating that there have been other instances of vandalism around the city recently.
According to Lieutenant Brian Foltz, “East Moline parks are safe, but it’s just a bad situation, bad instance where somebody, or maybe a group of kids, I don’t know who did this, but figured this would be a fun prank to do.”
