Only a couple of weeks into the new year, and we’ve already amassed a pretty long list of “Worst Parents Ever.” There was the awful mother who forcibly had her five-year-old daughter’s eyebrows waxed on Toddlers & Tiaras, the scumbag father who had his two-year-old son bagging weed, the woman who left her four-month-old baby…
Only a couple of weeks into the new year, and we’ve already amassed a pretty long list of “Worst Parents Ever.” There was the awful mother who forcibly had her five-year-old daughter’s eyebrows waxed on Toddlers & Tiaras, the scumbag father who had his two-year-old son bagging weed, the woman who left her four-month-old baby in a freezing car while she shoplifted. Really, the number of bad parenting stories out there is just out of control.
But the Argentinian woman in this news segment is as much of a dumb parent as she ostensibly is a bad parent. To avoid paying a fare, she dropped her daughter on the train tracks and was about to lower herself when she noticed an oncoming train pulling into the station. Luckily, the young girl crawled under the platform and was unharmed in the end. But with every passing day—and every passing YouTube video—I’m becoming more and more convinced that having kids is a privilege, not a right.
