NPR scooped a new Odd Future thing today — a music video directed by Tyler the Creator. The work shows a grounded side of Tyler that you probably haven’t seen before, at times somber and ‘taking everything seriously’. “What people take from it is up to the viewer I suppose. Controlling the narrative seems contradictive to the point. For me it’s a challenge to the assumption that ignorance is bliss, and that challenge is as timely as it’s ever been,” Christian Clancy, his manager, told NPR. The song’s called “Glowing,” but the band remains anonymous.
