Trust me, the New York City Subway System is not my favorite by any means, and Beijing’s subways can certainly teach NYC a thing or two about cleanliness. However, in Beijing where over 7 million people are transported everyday, things get so crowded and hectic that people are actually paid to push and shove others out of the cars. It’s basically like one big ol’ rock concert.
