Snoop Dogg Says He Supports His Wife’s Strip Club Because She Supported His Pimp Phase

Snoop was so obsessed with pimp culture for three years that his wife threw him a players’ ball for his 35th birthday and invited all the pimps. Now she owns a strip club with a male dance night, and his answer is, “I support you. I show up. I throw money in there.”

Snoop Dogg spent three years deep in pimp culture, hanging with real pimps, dressing like them, and making movies about that world. “My wife didn’t say a word,” he said.

For his 35th birthday, “she threw me a player’s ball birthday party and invited all the Pimps.”

About two years ago she bought a strip club and started a male exotic dance night. His response wasn’t to push back.

“So what do I do? Do I say, what the hell is you doing? I support you. I show up. I throw money in there,” he said.

He frames it as returning the loyalty she gave him: “Because she supported me when I was going through something that I wanted to get off, that I felt like it was fun and it was fly.”

“She enjoys having the women and the men dance and people come to her clubs and they enjoy themselves and they get to have a good time and it’s her world.”
