Brooklyn Beckham Scooped Ocean Water Straight Off a Yacht to Boil His Pasta, and Fans Begged Him to Just Use the Tap

Brooklyn Beckham dunked a saucepan straight into the ocean off a luxury yacht and used the salty haul to boil his pasta. The 27-year-old, who sells a hot sauce and posts cooking videos, shared the moment to promote the sauce, and the comments came in fast.

The video first went up last year, then hit TikTok again on Thursday, showing Brooklyn scooping seawater into a saucepan to cook a tomato pasta on board.

“Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please sir,” one commenter wrote. Another asked, “I haven’t got the sea in my back Garden. Will tap water do?” A third offered to help: “Brooklyn can you show me how to make a glass of water next?”

Cooking runs in the family, which may be the point. His estranged dad David completed a 6-month culinary course at a professional chef’s school while playing for AC Milan, telling The Times in 2013 he was “obsessed with perfecting the risotto because it is difficult.”

The timing lands during a wider family freeze. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz holidayed on Elton John’s yacht in Nice last week, a short stretch from where David and Victoria were staying in the South of France, and the two sides didn’t meet up.
