The Democratic National Committee’s most reliable megadonors appear to be sitting out this cycle — and the drop-off is steep enough that party insiders are turning it into a punchline.

George Soros and his son gave the DNC over $1 million in 2022. This year they haven’t given it a dollar.

The DNC’s biggest checks have stopped arriving, and one Democratic strategist says donors now joke the letters stand for “Do Not Contribute.”

The money hasn’t left the party, though. It’s chasing candidates instead.
