Emma Roberts Married Cody John at His Family’s Sun Valley Home, and Vogue Just Published the Photos

The couple exchanged vows along a creek on the Idaho property she calls their “happy place,” Roberts in a custom Monique Lhuillier gown with a sheer shawl and long veil. “It just felt like time stopped, which for me is just the best feeling in the world,” she said.

The wedding happened on July 25, 2026, four years after a mutual friend set the two actors up on a blind date in May 2022.

Neither read their vows to each other beforehand. “We didn’t read our vows ahead of time, and yet there was overlap, which I thought was really beautiful,” Roberts told Vogue. “It made the ceremony feel really unique to us.”

Roberts changed into an archival Lhuillier dress for the reception, which gave way to an evening of dancing and singing with guests at the Sun Valley house.
