Gavin Newsom and His Wife Have Made at Least $11 Million Since He Became Governor, Mostly From Wineries and Restaurants

California Governor Gavin Newsom and his wife have earned at least $11 million since he took office, with much of that income coming from their wineries and restaurants.

Newsom recently let reporters view four years of tax returns after taking heat for going quiet on his finances since 2020. The records show a couple pulling in between $1.4 million and $3.5 million a year.

The governor’s own office argues that number has actually gone down since he moved into the governor’s office.
