Patricia Heaton Is Backing a Petition to Ban NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani From This Year’s 9/11 Memorial

A petition to bar New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani from this year’s 9/11 memorial is gaining traction, and it has a famous backer: actor Patricia Heaton. The push comes just weeks before the 25th anniversary of the attacks.

The petition, started by a man who lost his spouse on 9/11, has crossed 42,000 signatures.

Mamdani, who was 9 years old when the towers fell, says he’ll be there anyway, “standing alongside” the families and first responders.
