Pete Davidson has a story about Donald Trump’s week hosting Saturday Night Live, and it centers on a phone call that never happened.

Davidson once watched Trump fake a phone call at an SNL table read. The flip phone never actually rang, but Trump picked it up anyway, said “hello,” “oh fantastic,” and “great,” then put it down and told the entire room his book had hit number one.

The cast figured it out right away, Davidson says, because Trump skipped “hello” and jumped straight to “oh wow, that’s awesome” the moment he answered.

Davidson also notes Trump was “weird all week.”
