George Clooney, Amal, and Their Twins Coordinated Head to Toe in White and Yellow for a Day on Lake Como
George and Amal took Ella and Alexander out on the water near Villa D’Este, everyone in soft summer whites and yellow.

The Clooneys spent a family day on Lake Como, moving from the beach at Villa D’Este to a yacht outing with 8-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.

Amal wore a white blouse with floral ivory shorts and oversized sunglasses. George kept it simple in a white polo, white pants, and aviator sunglasses, while Alexander paired a white shirt with dark brown shorts and Ella went with a flowy light yellow mini dress.

Lake Como has been home base for George since 2002, when he bought the 18th-century Villa Oleandra in Laglio for around $12 million. The 25-room estate, now reportedly worth $100 million, has a pool, a tennis court, a full gym, and a pizza room, and it’s where he first met Amal in July 2013 when a mutual friend brought her as a plus one. They married in Venice in 2014 and welcomed Ella and Alexander in 2017.

The Lake Como day caps a stretch of Italian summer for the couple, who were in Capri earlier this month house-hunting at Villa Bragaglia, a hidden hillside estate once owned by Italian comedy legend Totò. The property can only be reached on foot and has 360-degree views of the sea, Vesuvius, and Ischia.
