Joe Jonas Has Gone from a Very Public Divorce to a Full Euro Summer with Tatiana Gabriela and the Mcgraws in Sardinia

Two years ago he was finalizing a divorce from Sophie Turner. This week he’s barefoot on a Sardinian beach with Tatiana Gabriela, smoking cigars at Nicki Beach.

Joe Jonas and Tatiana Gabriela spent an afternoon lounging at Nikki Beach in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, joined by TV personality Morgan Stewart McGraw, her husband Jordan McGraw, and a few other friends.

It’s a long way from where Joe was three years ago.

He and Sophie Turner married in 2019, had two daughters, Willa and Delphine, and announced their separation in September 2023. Joe filed for divorce in Florida, and the split turned public and painful fast, mostly over custody. Sophie wanted the girls based in the UK; Joe wanted them in the US. Court filings and tabloid “custody battle” headlines followed them through the end of the year. They reached a shared custody agreement in late 2023 and finalized the divorce in 2024. Sources now describe them as friendly co-parents who’ve “turned things around” and are focused on the kids.

Joe has been open about how brutal that period was. He’s said dating again felt “scary and intimidating” and that he had to “rediscover what love looks like.” That search became the throughline of his solo album and most of the interviews he’s done since.

The 28-year-old Puerto Rican model and Joe, now 36, started quietly getting to know each other in late summer 2025. By April 2026 they went Instagram-official with a sun-drenched Puerto Rico trip, photobooth cuddles included, and a YouTube vlog where she patiently helped him practice Spanish (“Tati,” he called her). She was there in the crowd when he made a surprise appearance during Teddy Swims’ set at Coachella. And this summer they’ve been deep in Euro-summer mode: dinner at I Gemelli in Portofino, hand-in-hand walks through the streets, poolside days and balcony breakfasts, and now south to Sardinia where they met up with the McGraws for a long, easy lunch at Nikki Beach.

What stands out isn’t just the locations. It’s how settled it all looks. Joe went from very public heartbreak and learning how to date again to bringing his new girlfriend into his actual friend circle, and Tatiana has been folded in without fanfare. No big statements, just consistent low-key proof that he’s in a different chapter.

Three years ago the headlines were about court filings and custody fights. This week they’re about a beachfront lunch in Sardinia with mutual friends.
