In everyday moments, it’s easy to let small shadows creep into our lives without noticing how they slowly shape our choices. Try to stay close to God’s light, because walking with Him can help you live in truth and reflect that same light to others. Come into prayer with me.

Dear God,

Thank you for your pure nature and trustworthiness, and for showing me that you not only have light, but are light itself. I confess that there are many areas of my life where darkness has crept in, preventing me from fully seeing your light or honoring it as I should.

Strengthen your walk with God through Rebecca Simon’s book.

But I want your help to walk in your light, so that I can reflect your purity, truth, and holiness to others, be a mirror for them, and help them walk in your light as well. Please cleanse me from any darkness and use me as a vessel to showcase your character, so that your light can illuminate the world around me. Thank you that in you there is no darkness at all, and for calling me to live in that same light.
