A Prayer To Share God’s Light Fearlessly

By

We are reminded that the light we carry is meant to be shared despite our doubts, a truth highlighted by Karin Hadadan. To help you walk this path, Rebecca Simon’s Finding God Every Day teaches us to recognize His presence so we can live our faith more intentionally.

Our light was never meant to be hidden, even when fear or doubt makes us want to stay in the background. At times like this, it may be a gentle reminder that God has already placed that light within us, and sharing it can bring hope to others in ways we may not even realize. Let’s pause and pray together.

Dear God,

Thank you for reigniting the light inside of me so that I can illuminate the world around me. I sometimes struggle to share it, hiding my own light out of fear of being seen or becoming too prideful. Today, I ask you to give me courage to be visible in my faith, to illuminate darkness in specific ways that only I can.

Help me remember that Jesus didn’t say I should become light, but that I already am the light of the world. Allow me to embrace this identity with both confidence and humility, so that I can faithfully inspire others to rediscover their own inner light. Thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of creating a beautiful ripple effect of transformation in a world that needs light.

Amen.
