God,
There are doors in my life that you have already closed — paths that ended, conversations that went quiet, situations that no longer moved forward. Yet part of me still returns to them, wondering if they might open again.
Today I ask you for the strength to let them stay closed. Quiet the part of me that keeps looking back. Give me clarity when I’m tempted to revisit what you already removed.
Help me to trust that what ended was not random, but intentional. If I am holding onto what no longer belongs in my life, loosen my attachment to it. Replace my urge to return with the peace of moving forward. Remind me that I do not need to understand every reason in order to trust your direction.
God, I don’t want to keep reopening what you have already shut for my protection. Give me the discipline to leave it closed, and the faith to believe that what is ahead of me is better than anything behind me.
