My Manifestation Hasn’t Arrived Yet. What Am I Doing Wrong?

By

Victoria Jackson is manifesting coach the author How To Manifest Anything.

Let’s start with this truth: there is no such thing as “wrong” in manifestation. Still, you may find it helpful to make certain shifts and adjustments to better realign with your desired outcome.

When we set out to manifest, it’s easy to get caught up in the how and the when. And if our desires don’t appear within the timeframe we’ve imagined, it can leave us feeling deflated and confused — almost like we’ve been ghosted by the Universe.

How do I change my mindset?

A simple way to shift your focus is to list all the reasons why it is possible for you to have your particular desire. Why you are worthy of receiving it. Where focus goes, energy flows. Plus, whether we ask the subconscious a negative or positive question, it will still go in search of evidence to support what we are asking. Why not ask it a positive-led question, and see the positive solutions that come to light?

Sometimes we hear stories of people magnetizing thousands of dollars into their bank account overnight or soulmates bumping into each other in the street. But let’s be honest, these are anomalies. Yes, everything you envision is available for you, but the Universe may need to work behind the scenes before your desire can be delivered.

Here are three questions to ask yourself when there is a delay in your manifestation arriving:

Do I believe it to be possible for me?

One of the biggest pockets of resistance in the concept of Ask, Believe, Receive is believing it’s possible to have what you desire. Check in on your self-worth. Do you feel worthy of having your vision-board life? If you’re facing resistance to this question, why don’t you feel worthy? Listen closely to the voice in your head — does it resemble anyone in your family or friendship group? Subconsciously you may have taken on others’ beliefs of what is possible for you, rather than your own.

Am I trying to control the outcome?

If you struggle with the need to control, the concept of manifestation — where we are being asked to let go of the how and when and trust in divine timing — can feel challenging at times. Control is a protection mechanism. The more we can control our surroundings, the less likely we are to activate our fight-or-flight mode.

One affirmation to repeat if you struggle with trying to control the outcome is: “It is this or something better.” Knowing that when you release the tight grip you have around your manifestation, it will either be what you desire or something even better than you could have imagined.

If the how and when is something you just can’t let go of, then why not open your mind to all the amazing ways in which your desires could be delivered? You can do this by making a list of every weird, wild, and mundane way your manifestation might come to fruition.

Have I taken action to meet the universe halfway?

The last question to ask yourself is: have I put the action into the Law of Attraction and met the Universe halfway? While some manifestations can appear with little or no action, taking some form of aligned step forward can help turn your vision board into reality in a much quicker timeframe.

What does aligned action mean? Aligned action is moving forward in a way that feels good in your soul. It feels exciting. It feels right in your gut. For example, maybe you’re manifesting a new job and suddenly you think of reaching out to a former colleague. Aligned action could be sending them an email to say you’re looking for new opportunities.
